Membrane-anchored endopeptidase MMP14 (also called MT1-MMP) drives pericellular collagen turnover, activates proMMP-2 at the cell surface, and is widely studied in tumor invasion, angiogenesis, and tissue remodeling. The recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes this target across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work in cell-based assays, primary tumor specimens, and tissue sections. Validated applications include western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry, covering expression profiling, subcellular localization, and surface-membrane characterization. The unconjugated antibody is provided as 100 µl in a buffered formulation containing 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide preservative at pH 7.4, ready to use in standard immunodetection workflows. This reagent is suited to research on invadopodia formation, basement membrane breakdown, and metastatic dissemination in cancer cell lines, as well as studies of fibrotic remodeling and vascular biology in inflammatory disease models.
