Anti-MMP-8 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide derived from human MMP-8 (matrix metalloproteinase 8 / neutrophil collagenase) and is designed to recognise endogenous levels of the total MMP-8 protein. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated Rabbit IgG preparation at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is provided in a 50 µL trial/aliquot size and has been validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications on human, mouse and rat samples. To preserve activity, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
