Anti-MMP-7 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified Rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against matrix metalloproteinase 7 (MMP-7, also known as PUMP1) and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The unconjugated antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific peptide immunogen corresponding to the C-terminal region of human MMP-7, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of the MMP-7 protein in validated immunoassays. Recommended applications include Western blot (WB), ELISA, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse, Rat and Monkey samples. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, taking care to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles that could compromise antibody integrity. Packaged as a primary antibody for research use only, it is well suited to studies of extracellular-matrix remodelling, tumour invasion, wound healing and other areas of MMP-7 biology where sensitive detection of the endogenous target is required.
