Anti-MMP-16 (T583) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the MMP-16 target. The unconjugated reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 550–600 of Human MMP-16. It is reported to detect endogenous levels of MMP-16 protein and has been validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, supported by two scientific validation images.

Expected molecular weight for the target is approximately 57 kDa. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is stated as greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
