Anti-MME Antibody

The Antibodies.com Anti-MME polyclonal reagent is a rabbit-derived IgG preparation raised against membrane metalloendopeptidase, a zinc-dependent cell-surface endopeptidase also known as neprilysin and CD10. Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, the unconjugated antibody recognizes the human, mouse, and rat forms of the target, supporting translational studies that span rodent models and patient-derived tissue.

MME inactivates vasoactive and neuropeptide substrates such as substance P, bradykinin, glucagon, and enkephalins, and its expression in lymphoid tissue is exploited diagnostically to classify germinal-center-derived B-cell neoplasms and to distinguish endometrial stromal sarcoma from smooth-muscle mimics. The reagent is supplied at 100 µl per vial; store at 4 °C for routine use and aliquot for frozen storage at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw damage to the IgG fraction.

Each lot works for chromogenic IHC on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections and for immunoblotting of membrane-enriched lysates, giving laboratories a practical tool for investigating metalloprotease biology, hematopathology biomarkers, and amyloid-beta clearance pathways relevant to neurodegeneration research use only.
