Raised in rabbit against the MLL5 protein, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and ships in a 100 µl volume suited to multiple experimental workflows.

MLL5, also known as KMT2E, is a SET domain-containing histone methyltransferase studied for its role in chromatin regulation, cell cycle progression, and the DNA damage response. It is widely investigated in hematopoiesis, myeloid differentiation, and certain leukemias, where altered expression or mutation has been linked to aberrant gene silencing and proliferation control.

Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation across human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody allows researchers to probe endogenous MLL5 levels in cultured cell lines, primary tissues, and whole-cell lysates, and to enrich the protein for downstream mass spectrometry or co-immunoprecipitation studies. Aliquot on receipt and store at -20 °C or colder, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
