Anti-MLH1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a research-use-only primary antibody, this 50 µL mouse monoclonal reagent targets MLH1 (MutL protein homolog 1), a key component of the DNA mismatch-repair pathway linked to Lynch syndrome/HNPCC. The reagent is supplied as a purified mouse monoclonal in a buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, with an estimated purity of greater than 95% following affinity chromatography from mouse ascites. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry (ICC) workflows on human samples, making it well suited to studies of mismatch-repair function, colorectal cancer biology and the assessment of microsatellite-instability in tumor cells. The clone specifically recognizes endogenous human MLH1 without cross-reacting with related mismatch-repair proteins, supporting clean signal in both protein-detection and cell-based imaging experiments. The vial is shipped in liquid form on ice packs and, for continuous use, should be stored at -20 °C while avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity.
