Anti-ML-IAP Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ML-IAP (also known as Livin, BIRC7, or KIAP), a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis protein family. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot of an unconjugated, antigen-affinity-purified preparation raised against a recombinant protein fragment corresponding to amino acids 13–212 of human ML-IAP. It has been validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) on paraffin-embedded sections, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against human samples. Recommended working dilutions include 1:500 for Western blotting of whole-cell lysates (e.g., HeLa), 1:100 for immunohistochemistry of SAS xenograft tissue, and 1:200 for immunofluorescence on paraformaldehyde-fixed HeLa cells. The antibody is formulated in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline containing 20% glycerol at pH 7.0, with 0.01% thimerosal added as a preservative. It is shipped at 4°C, dispatched from St. Louis, MO with a 6–9 business day lead time, and should be aliquoted upon delivery and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
