MKK3 (also known as MAP2K3 or MEK3) is a dual-specificity kinase that selectively phosphorylates p38 MAPK on the Thr180-Tyr182 activation loop, propagating stress and inflammatory cytokine signals through the SAPK cascade. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against an epitope mapping near residue 189 of MKK3, enabling detection of the kinase in fixed cells and whole-cell lysates.

Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, the unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of liquid antiserum with confirmed reactivity against Human and Mouse samples. For routine use, aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C; working dilutions can be kept briefly at 4°C, while repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve binding activity.

Researchers studying innate immune signaling, cytokine-driven inflammation, stress-activated kinase pathways, and downstream apoptosis programs will find this antibody a useful tool. It can be combined with phospho-p38 antibodies to follow pathway activation in stimulated macrophages, inflammatory disease tissue, or relevant cell-line models.
