Anti-MIWI Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets MIWI, a PIWI-family RNA-binding protein expressed in developing male germ cells and required for spermatogenesis, retrotransposon silencing, and piRNA pathway function. The unconjugated reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of antiserum validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation.

In mouse and rat tissues, MIWI is detected in spermatocytes and round spermatids, supporting reproductive biology research on germ cell development, transposon regulation, and small-RNA-mediated silencing in the testis. Aliquot on receipt and store at -20°C to preserve activity through limited freeze-thaw cycles.
