Anti-MIP Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to AQP0 (also known as MIP), supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. It is provided as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is affinity purified.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 50-150 of human MIP (NP_036196.1). The immunogen sequence is LALATLVQSVGHISGAHVNPAVTFAFLVGSQMSLLRAFCYMAAQLLGAVAGAAVLYSVTPPAVRGNLALNTLHPAVSVGQATTVEIFLTLQFVLCIFATYD. The target protein has a molecular weight of 28 kDa.

Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:500-1:1,000 and IHC: 1:100-1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. It is intended for research use only.
