Anti-MIP 1 alpha Antibody [548]

This Mouse monoclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised against Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 alpha and is identified by clone 548. It is of the IgG2a isotype and is unconjugated, intended for use in ELISA applications with human samples.

The antibody was generated using purified recombinant human MIP-1α as the immunogen. Cross-reactivity testing indicates that the reagent does not recognise M-CSF, GM-CSF, IL-7, IL-8, IL-16, IL-1ß, βFGF, TGF-β, EGF, TNF-α, or EPO. The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.2, to be reconstituted with double distilled water.

For handling, the antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon delivery and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The product data references the Sp2/0-Ag14 line.
