Anti-MIP 1 alpha Antibody [199]

A mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 199) targeting Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 alpha, supplied by Antibodies.com. The reagent is an unconjugated IgG2a antibody of mouse origin, validated for ELISA and reactive with human samples.

It was raised against purified recombinant human MIP-1α and purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. The product is provided as a lyophilised preparation from a 0.01M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.2, with concentration being reconstitution dependent. Testing has shown that this antibody does not cross-react with M-CSF, GM-CSF, IL-7, IL-8, IL-16, IL-1ß, bFGF, TGF-ß, EGF, TNF-α and EPO.

The antibody is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Reconstitution is performed with double distilled water.
