Anti-MIP 1 alpha Antibody [103]

This mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognises human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 alpha (MIP-1α), also annotated CCL3, an 8 kDa CC-chemokine secreted by activated macrophages, dendritic cells, and lymphocytes that recruits monocytes, T cells, and NK cells through CCR1 and CCR5 signalling. Clone 103 is supplied as a lyophilised 100 µg vial of unconjugated IgG1 and has been validated for ELISA and Western blot workflows against recombinant and native human chemokine. Investigators apply the reagent to characterise inflammatory cascades in rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and acute lung-injury models, to map myeloid recruitment within the tumour microenvironment, and to interrogate CCR5-dependent pathways relevant to HIV-1 entry and neuroinflammation. The unconjugated format allows direct biotin, HRP, or fluorophore conjugation in user-defined protocols. Reconstitute with sterile deionised water, aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and store the lyophilised powder refrigerated with desiccant until first use.
