Anti-MIF (R74) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent recognizes macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF), a pleiotropic pro-inflammatory cytokine that governs innate immune cell recruitment, counter-regulates glucocorticoid-mediated immunosuppression, and contributes to chronic inflammatory disease, autoimmune pathology, and tumor progression. The antibody was raised against the R74 region of MIF and is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2.

Validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC), the polyclonal antiserum detects MIF in human, mouse, and rat tissue sections, supporting comparative work across rodent models and archived clinical specimens.
