Raised in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG preparation, this primary reagent targets the MID2 protein for Western blot detection in human and mouse samples. The antibody is supplied at a volume of 200 µl and is shipped as a single-use vial intended for research use only.
MID2 is an X-linked RING-finger E3 ubiquitin ligase that associates with the microtubule cytoskeleton and contributes to cell-cycle control, α4/PP2A-mediated signaling, and developmental patterning. Mutations in the encoding gene have been linked to X-linked intellectual disability. Through Western blot application, this reagent detects the endogenous protein in relevant human and murine cell systems, supporting investigations of TRIM-family ubiquitin ligases, mitotic progression, and neurodevelopmental biology.
Upon arrival, store refrigerated and protect from light; aliquot the antibody to limit freeze-thaw cycles if extended storage is needed. Antibodies.com provides this polyclonal reagent for laboratory research on cytoskeletal organization and the cellular signaling networks in which MID2 participates.
