Anti-MICU1 Antibody

A mouse monoclonal antibody raised against MICU1 (Mitochondrial Calcium Uptake 1), an EF-hand-containing regulator of the mitochondrial calcium uniporter complex. This unconjugated primary antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µL liquid aliquot and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

MICU1 localizes to the inner mitochondrial membrane, where it gates calcium flux through the MCU pore in concert with MICU2, making it a useful marker for studies of mitochondrial calcium signaling, bioenergetics, and related neuromuscular disease models. The reagent is produced in a murine host and offered in unconjugated format for flexible downstream assay design, including immunoblotting of the approximately 54 kDa protein band and chromogenic or fluorescent detection in fixed tissue sections.
