Anti-MIA3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human MIA3 target, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot intended for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. MIA3, also referred to as TANGO1, is an endoplasmic reticulum transmembrane receptor that recruits ERGIC membranes to procollagen export sites and loads bulky cargo into COPII vesicles, making its reliable detection useful for studies of collagen secretion, connective tissue biology, and skeletal development research.

The reagent is validated for human samples and ships refrigerated; aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C in working volumes to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Because it is unconjugated, it can be paired with a secondary reagent chosen by the user. Typical western blot loads of 20–40 µg of total protein per lane are generally compatible with detection of the endogenous MIA3 band, and the polyclonal format supports recognition of multiple epitopes on the target protein.
