Anti-MGMT Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this Anti-MGMT reagent (catalog A39955) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a recombinant human MGMT immunogen and affinity-purified using that same immunogen. It is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol; for long-term integrity the vial should be stored at –20 °C and protected from repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB) and shows reactivity with human and mouse samples, where it recognizes endogenous MGMT — also known as O-6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase, methylated-DNA–protein-cysteine methyltransferase or O-6-methylguanine-DNA-alkyltransferase — making it a practical choice for DNA-damage repair and alkylation-resistance studies in cell and tissue lysates.
