Anti-mGluR-5 (K56) Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal raised against mGluR-5. It is unconjugated and has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. The antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and detects endogenous levels of mGluR5 protein.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 30–80 of Human mGluR-5. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The target protein, mGluR-5, has a molecular weight of ~132 kDa.
