Anti-mGluR-2/3 (N867) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against mGluR-2/3 (N867) and is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

Immunisation was performed using a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 836–886 of Human mGluR-2, and the resulting antiserum has been shown to detect endogenous levels of both mGluR-2 and mGluR-3 protein, with the target appearing at approximately 95 kDa. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
