From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets METTL1, a tRNA methyltransferase that installs the N7-methylguanosine modification at position 46 of a subset of tRNAs and has been linked to translation regulation in stem cells and to hepatocellular carcinoma. The reagent is an unconjugated IgG supplied as a 100 µl vial, validated for western blot detection of the human protein in cell lysates. For handling, short-term storage at 4 °C is acceptable, while long-term storage at -20 °C in single-use aliquots helps preserve activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
