Anti-Methadone Antibody

This mouse monoclonal IVD-grade antibody from Antibodies.com is directed against methadone and is supplied as a purified monoclonal antibody preparation. The unconjugated antibody is raised in mouse and has an IgG2b, kappa isotype. It is validated for ELISA and is also applicable to lateral flow assays.

Specificity is directed against methadone, with the immunogen prepared as a methadone-KLH conjugate. The antibody has been reported to show cross-reactivity of 10% with EDDP and 5% with EMDP. It is purified to greater than 90% purity and formulated in 15 mM potassium phosphate buffer, pH 7.2, containing 0.85% NaCl.

The product is shipped at 4°C. For short-term use it can be kept at 4°C, while long-term storage requires aliquoting and storage at -20°C, with avoidance of freeze/thaw cycles.
