Anti-MET (phospho Y1234 + Y1235) Antibody

Selective detection of activated hepatocyte growth factor receptor (HGFR, also known as MET) is achieved with this polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com, which specifically recognizes the dual phospho-tyrosine 1234/1235 motif in the kinase activation loop of the receptor. Supplied unconjugated in a 200 µl vial, the rabbit-derived reagent enables Western blot discrimination between ligand-induced or oncogenic MET activation and basal receptor expression in cell lysates.

The phospho-specific reagent is applied to investigations of HGF/MET-driven signal transduction in tumor cell lines and primary tissue, profiling of receptor tyrosine kinase activity in models of invasion and metastasis, and verification of pathway inhibition across panels of small-molecule kinase inhibitors.
