Raise phosphosite-specific detection of the activated MET receptor tyrosine kinase with this rabbit polyclonal reagent, raised against the phosphorylated Y1234 residue located in the activation loop of the catalytic domain. Phosphorylation at this tyrosine, paired with the adjacent Y1235 site, is the hallmark autophosphorylation event triggered by HGF (hepatocyte growth factor) binding and serves as a widely used readout for ligand-induced MET activation.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated IgG antiserum, the antibody is validated for Western blot across human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling studies of HGF/MET signaling in oncogenic contexts such as non-small cell lung carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and gastric cancer, where aberrant MET activation drives proliferation, scattering, and invasive migration.

Key features and specifications:

  • Target: MET (c-MET / HGFR), phospho-Tyr1234
  • Host species: rabbit; clonality: polyclonal
  • Isotype: IgG, unconjugated for flexible secondary antibody pairing
  • Validated application: Western blot (WB)
  • Reactivity: human, mouse, rat
  • Format: 100 µl vial

This reagent from Antibodies.com is intended for research use only and supports investigation of receptor tyrosine kinase signaling, kinase domain activation states, and downstream pathways including RAS-MAPK and PI3K-AKT that propagate MET-driven cellular responses.
