Anti-MET (phospho Y1003) Antibody

The Antibodies.com anti-MET (phospho Y1003) polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and selectively recognizes the MET receptor tyrosine kinase only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 1003, a juxtamembrane residue whose modification recruits the Cbl E3 ubiquitin ligase and drives receptor ubiquitination and downregulation following HGF stimulation. Supplied as 50 µl of unconjugated IgG, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples, with storage at -20 °C recommended to preserve phospho-specific binding activity. It is well suited to tracking ligand-induced MET turnover, receptor internalization studies, and pathway analyses where Y1003 phosphorylation must be distinguished from total MET levels or from the activating phosphosites Y1234 and Y1235 in the kinase activation loop, supporting research into HGF/MET signaling, receptor downregulation mechanisms, and oncogenic signaling contexts in which aberrant MET turnover contributes to disease.
