Anti-MESP2 Antibody

The polyclonal rabbit antibody from Antibodies.com targets MESP2 (Mesoderm Posterior Basic Helix-Loop-Helix Transcription Factor 2), a nuclear transcription factor required for specification of nascent mesoderm during gastrulation and for subsequent cardiac and hematopoietic lineage commitment. Produced by immunization of rabbits with the human MESP2 immunogen and affinity purified, this unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative, at approximately pH 7.2.

The antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat MESP2 and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous protein in cell and tissue lysates. It is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot. Because sodium azide is included in the formulation, the product should be handled with appropriate laboratory precautions and stored refrigerated at 4°C; aliquoting is recommended if extended storage is needed.
