The Menin protein, encoded by the MEN1 tumor suppressor gene, is implicated in multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 and contributes to transcriptional regulation, histone modification, and maintenance of genomic stability. This Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal reagent targets Menin and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows using human, mouse, and rat samples.
Each vial contains 100 µl at 1 mg/ml, formulated in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated format supports downstream pairing with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chromogenic and fluorescence detection. Investigators studying MEN1-related tumor biology, pancreatic islet regulation, parathyroid proliferation, or pituitary signaling use this reagent to characterize Menin expression in tissue sections and cell lysates, with aliquoting recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
