Anti-MEK1/2 (phospho-S222/226) Antibody

A polyclonal rabbit antibody raised against MEK1/2 phosphorylated at Ser222/226, supplied by Antibodies.com. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human MEK1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 222, and the antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.

The reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of MEK-1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser222, and also recognises endogenous MEK-2 protein only when phosphorylated at Thr226. It is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is unconjugated, polyclonal, and raised in Rabbit, with the protein target listed as MEK1.

Provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the product shows an apparent molecular weight of ~43 kDa and a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. Two scientific images accompany the validation data.
