Anti-MEK Kinase-1 (W197) Antibody

Sourced through Antibodies.com and originally manufactured as catalog reference BS9126 (Nanjing Bioworld Biotech), this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent targets MEK Kinase-1 (also known as MAP3K1, MEKK1, or MAPKKK1). It is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 170–220 of human MEK Kinase-1, and is supplied as 50 µL of liquid at approximately 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH ~7.2) containing sodium azide as a preservative with 50% glycerol. The unconjugated IgG is validated for Western blot (WB) applications at recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:1000, and cross-reacts with endogenous MEK Kinase-1 in human, mouse, and rat samples, detecting a band of approximately 72 kDa. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. For stability, store short-term at 4 °C; for long-term use, aliquot and store at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
