Anti-MEK-3 (phospho-S189) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against MEK-3 and specifically recognises the protein only when phosphorylated at Serine 189. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human MEK-3 surrounding the Ser189 phosphorylation site, and the reagent is reported to detect endogenous levels of MEK-3 only when phosphorylated at this residue.

The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and has been verified to react with human, mouse and rat samples. It is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity of > 95% (by SDS-PAGE), and the target protein migrates at ~ 39 kDa.
