Anti-MEK-1 / 2 Antibody

The Antibodies.com Anti-MEK-1 / 2 polyclonal antibody is a rabbit host reagent raised against MAP2K1 and MAP2K2, the closely related dual-specificity kinases that phosphorylate ERK1 and ERK2 in the canonical RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK signal transduction cascade. The reagent is unconjugated and supplied as 100 µl of liquid in a single vial, ready for direct labelling or detection in western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows.

Raised in rabbit and purified as a polyclonal reagent, the antibody binds both MEK-1 and MEK-2 isoforms in human, mouse, and rat samples. Investigators commonly deploy this reagent to probe total and phosphorylated MEK levels in cell lysates and tissue sections, to interrogate pathway activation downstream of receptor tyrosine kinase stimulation, and to compare MEK expression across normal versus tumour specimens by IHC.
