Anti-MEF2C (phospho-S396) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises the MEF2C protein when phosphorylated at serine 396. The unconjugated reagent is raised in rabbit and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

Validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, the antibody was generated against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human MEF2C around the phosphorylation site of serine 396. It specifically detects endogenous levels of MEF2C protein only when phosphorylated at Ser396, with the target observed at a molecular weight of approximately 51 kDa.

The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
