The MED6 protein is a component of the Mediator complex, a multiprotein assembly that bridges sequence-specific transcription factors with RNA polymerase II to regulate eukaryotic gene expression. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples. It is supplied as a 100 µl volume and should be stored at -20 °C, ideally aliquoted into single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve antibody activity. Researchers investigating transcriptional regulation, RNA polymerase II-dependent signaling, or the assembly of Mediator subcomplexes can apply this antibody to detect endogenous MED6 in whole-cell lysates and in fixed tissue sections. The unconjugated format also offers flexibility for custom secondary antibody pairing in fluorescence, chromogenic, or chemiluminescence detection schemes.
