Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated antibody recognizes the Mediator complex subunit 30, also known as TRAP25. MED30 is a structural component of the Mediator, the multiprotein assembly that conveys regulatory signals from transcription factors to RNA polymerase II, and it was originally characterized as part of the thyroid hormone receptor-associated protein (TRAP) subcomplex.

Validated for Western blot, the antibody cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting comparative studies of Mediator-dependent transcription in cell lines and primary tissues from these species. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, ready to dilute into standard blocking buffers for immunoblotting of nuclear extracts or whole-cell lysates. Storage at -20 °C in working aliquots preserves activity and limits freeze-thaw damage to the polyclonal pool.

Provided by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is intended for research use only, supporting investigations of transcriptional regulation, hormone receptor signaling pathways, and Mediator complex composition.
