Anti-MED28 Antibody

MED28 (Mediator of RNA Polymerase II Transcription Subunit 28), also known as EG1 or magicin, is a component of the multi-subunit Mediator complex that bridges DNA-bound transcription factors with RNA polymerase II to regulate gene expression. Beyond its canonical transcriptional role, MED28 participates in cytoskeletal organization, cell migration, and has been linked to proliferation pathways in mammalian cells.

This rabbit polyclonal reagent, distributed by Antibodies.com, was raised against MED28 and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot detection of MED28 in human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species expression studies in standard immunoblotting workflows.
