Anti-MeCP2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody to MeCP2 is available from Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG reagent for Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry work. The antibody was raised in rabbit against recombinant full-length human MeCP2 expressed in and purified from E. coli, then affinity-purified using the immunogen.

Reactivity has been demonstrated against human, rat, mouse, and monkey samples, with the target migrating at 70-75 kDa by SDS-PAGE. The product is supplied as a liquid at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline containing 50% glycerol and 5 mM sodium azide, and is shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

Manufacturer-recommended dilutions are 1:10,000-1:20,000 for WB, 1:2,000 for ICC/IF, and 1:2,000 for IHC.
