Anti-MECP2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting MECP2 is offered by Antibodies.com as part of their Primary Antibodies range. The unconjugated reagent, raised in rabbit, is validated for Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, with reactivity towards Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

According to the manufacturer's datasheet, the antibody was generated using recombinant human MECP2 protein as immunogen and purified by affinity purification. It detects endogenous levels of total MECP2 protein. The product is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

For storage, the manufacturer recommends shipping at 4°C, aliquoting on arrival and storing at -20°C, while avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
