Anti-MECOM Antibody

A polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbits against the MECOM protein (also referred to as EVI1). The reagent is of the IgG isotype and is supplied unconjugated.

Validated for Western blot (WB), with immunofluorescence (IF) additionally listed among its applications, the antibody reacts with mouse samples as specified by the manufacturer. It was generated using a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–120 of human MECOM (NP_004982.2) and is provided in a liquid formulation of Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The reported molecular weight of the target is 105 kDa / 145 kDa.

Affinity-purified antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. For Western blotting, a recommended dilution range of 1:500–1:2,000 is suggested.
