Anti-MDMA Antibody

Manufactured as a Protein A purified monoclonal reagent for use in immunoassay workflows, this reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com and targets MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine). It is a mouse monoclonal antibody presented in an unconjugated format at a 1 mg pack size with a concentration of ≥ 1.5 mg/ml, formulated in 0.05 M potassium phosphate buffer (pH 7.2) containing 0.85% NaCl and 0.05% NaN3 as a preservative. The antibody is of the IgG1 isotype, is hosted in mouse, and has been validated for use in lateral flow (LF) and ELISA applications against the MDMA target. The product specifically recognizes MDMA as well as MDE (3,4-methylenedioxyethamphetamine), with reported cross-reactivities to MDE (~161%), fenfluramine, isoxsuprine (~5%), phentermine (~3.2%), (+)-methamphetamine (~3%), mephentermine (~2.3%), and MDA (~2.2%), and minimal cross-reactivity with l-amphetamine, N-hydroxy-MDA, (R,R)-pseudoephedrine and related stimulants. Purity is reported at ≥95%. For handling, the antibody should be stored at 2–8 °C and must not be frozen, and is supplied strictly for research use only (RUO); it is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
