Anti-MDA-7 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research laboratories, this rabbit polyclonal reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of MDA-7 protein, also known by the synonyms IL-24, Interleukin-24, MDA7, Melanoma differentiation-associated gene 7 protein, ST16, and Suppression of tumorigenicity 16 protein. The antibody was raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human MDA-7 and affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, yielding an unconjugated polyclonal antibody supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. It is validated for ELISA and Western Blot applications and reacts with human samples, making it suitable for studies of melanoma differentiation and interleukin signalling pathways.
