Anti-MCTP2 Antibody

Supplied as 200 µL of unconjugated rabbit IgG, the Antibodies.com Anti-MCTP2 polyclonal antibody is a primary reagent raised against Multiple C2 Domains Transmembrane Protein 2, a calcium-binding transmembrane protein that carries tandem C2 lipid-binding domains. The antibody is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous human MCTP2 in cell lysates and tissue homogenates.

MCTP2 participates in presynaptic calcium handling and membrane trafficking at nerve terminals, and immunoblotting studies using this reagent help clarify its distribution across human brain regions and neuronal cell lines. The unconjugated format is compatible with common HRP-conjugated and fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or fluorescent readouts on western blots.
