Anti-MCPH1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the MCPH1 protein and is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot of an unconjugated, affinity-purified IgG preparation at 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody was raised in rabbit against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human MCPH1, then purified from antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) supplemented with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺. It is intended for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and detects endogenous levels of total MCPH1 in human samples; representative data shown on the Antibodies.com product page include WB on K562 cell extracts and IHC on paraffin-embedded human thymus gland tissue. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C, and on arrival should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
