Anti-MCP1 Antibody [S382]

Available from Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a mouse monoclonal (clone S382) raised against Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 (MCP-1). It is of the IgG2b isotype, supplied unconjugated in lyophilised form for reconstitution with double distilled water. The reagent is validated for ELISA and Western blot (WB) and reacts with human samples.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody was generated using purified recombinant human MCP-1 as the immunogen and recognises both natural and recombinant human MCP-1. It does not cross-react with human IL-8, IL-1ß, SAA or EGF. The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and is formulated as a lyophilised preparation in 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.2. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
