Anti-MCP1 Antibody [S14] - Identical to Thermo (MA1-26057)

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal [S14] reagent targets Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 (MCP-1). It is supplied unconjugated in lyophilised form for reconstitution with double distilled water. The antibody is of the IgG1 isotype, raised in mouse, and reacts with human samples. It has been validated for use in ELISA and WB applications.

The immunogen is purified recombinant human MCP-1, and the antibody recognises both natural and recombinant human MCP-1. Cross-reactivity testing confirms it does not recognise human IL-8, IL-1ß, SAA or EGF. Purification is performed by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the formulation is 0.01M phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.2 prior to lyophilisation.

For handling, the product is shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The epitope is associated with the Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line.
