The S101 clone monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1 (MCP1, also designated CCL2), a small chemokine that drives monocyte recruitment during inflammatory responses. Produced in mouse hosts as an IgG1 isotype and supplied unconjugated in lyophilised format, this reagent recognises the human MCP1 protein and is validated for ELISA and western blot workflows.

Researchers studying chronic inflammatory disease, atherosclerotic plaque biology, tumour microenvironment signalling, or monocyte trafficking rely on anti-CCL2 reagents to quantify cytokine release and confirm expression in cell lysates. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with custom reporter enzymes or fluorophores, while the lyophilised presentation supports stable long-term storage and straightforward reconstitution to working concentration. Each vial contains 100 µg of purified antibody.

Because MCP1 acts upstream of monocyte extravasation and macrophage differentiation, anti-MCP1 antibodies are commonly cited in studies of cardiovascular pathophysiology, neuroinflammation, and tumour-associated immune cell infiltration. Pairing this reagent with appropriate secondary detection systems enables reproducible measurement of endogenous CCL2 levels in conditioned media, tissue homogenates, or recombinant expression systems.
