Anti-MCP1 Antibody [9G10]

This Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 9G10) from Antibodies.com targets Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 (MCP1) and is supplied as a primary antibody for research use. The unconjugated reagent is of the IgG1 isotype and has been validated for ELISA and Western blot (WB) applications, with reactivity confirmed against human samples.

Specificity work shows the antibody recognises both natural and recombinant human MCP-1, while it does not cross-react with human IL-8, IL-1ß, SAA or EGF. The immunogen used was purified recombinant human MCP-1. The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2; reconstitution with double distilled water is required, with concentration being reconstitution dependent.

For storage, the lyophilised antibody is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The host species is mouse, and the epitope is reported as Sp2/0-Ag14.
