Anti-MCM7 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and specifically recognizes MCM7 (Minichromosome Maintenance Complex Component 7), a core subunit of the replicative MCM2-7 helicase complex that unwinds parental DNA at replication forks during S phase. The unconjugated IgG antibody is supplied as a 100 ug liquid aliquot and has been validated for western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, chromatin immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry across mouse, rat, human, and hamster samples.

Because MCM7 expression marks actively cycling cells, this antibody is commonly used to study DNA replication licensing, to profile proliferative indices in tumor sections, and to investigate MCM7 overexpression reported in cervical, prostate, gastric, and hepatocellular carcinomas.
