Anti-MCM4 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody reagent from Antibodies.com targets MCM4 (Minichromosome Maintenance Complex Component 4), a core subunit of the MCM2-7 hexameric helicase complex that licenses replication origins and unwinds parental DNA during S-phase. The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS supplemented with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody has been confirmed to react with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it useful for cross-species studies of DNA replication, cell-cycle progression, and genome stability. MCM4 loss-of-function mutations are linked to NK cell deficiency and to elevated mutation rates in replicating cells, so the reagent is also valuable for immunology and DNA damage research.

Each vial contains 100 µl of concentrated stock. The 50% glycerol cryoprotectant permits frozen storage and minimizes freeze-thaw damage to the immunoglobulin, while the sodium azide preservative allows short-term handling at refrigerated temperatures during routine western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.
