The MCM3 protein is a core subunit of the replicative helicase complex that drives DNA replication initiation and elongation in eukaryotic cells. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent, raised in rabbit, specifically recognizes human MCM3 and supports Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows in proliferating cell populations.

Because MCM3 expression is tightly linked to S-phase entry, the antibody serves as a useful marker for studies of cell cycle progression, DNA replication licensing, and tumor cell proliferation. Researchers apply it to characterize replication competence in cancer cell lines, patient-derived tissue sections, and fixed-cell preparations for imaging. The unconjugated format allows downstream labeling with secondary reagents of the user's choice, such as HRP, fluorophores, or biotin, matched to the chosen detection platform.

Each vial is supplied at 100 µl, ready for dilution into standard assay buffers. For best results, store at -20°C and aliquot upon receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only, in vitro applications.

From Antibodies.com, this reagent is part of a broader primary antibody portfolio targeting DNA replication and cell cycle regulators.
